Reform UK's press conference was overshadowed by continuing questions about party finances and the news that Richard Tice is under investigation by parliament's standards watchdog over an alleged failure to declare an interest while taking part in a debate on Israel.
This is on top of the investigation already underway for the party’s leader about the £5 million he received from a Thai-based crypto billionaire.
Even though the number of boat crossings has declined year on year, the issue of migrant incursions in general was catapulted to the front pages when 70,000 Moroccans swarmed into the Spanish territory of Ceuta last week. So is Reform offering a solution or a distraction?
