Over the last week, dozens of Israeli settlers have besieged three Palestinian homes on the edge of Qusra village in the Occupied West Bank.
About 15 Palestinians have been trapped in their homes without power or water.
Last week, America’s Middle East Envoy, Jared Kushner - who is also Donald Trump’s son-in-law - was back in the region to restart Gaza peace talks. But nobody seems to be talking about peace in the West Bank.

And, with both sides looking to secure land ahead of the Israeli elections, many fear this violence will only get worse.

We speak to Inès Abdel Razek, Co-Director at the Palestine Institute for Public Diplomacy, and look at what impact the upcoming elections in Israel could have on the West Bank, and ask if Palestinians can ever live there safely.
The Israeli authorities have said its forces are on the ground to keep all residents living in the West Bank safe.
