He said the revelations in the undercover filming broadcast last night by Channel 4 News were not a good look and the officials had said things they shouldn't have.
But he didn't regret his own comments - thanking a supposed foreign donor - who at the suggestion of Jukes and Orr - had paid for Reform-commissioned opinion polls, against the law, and who was offering half a million pounds via his British based son - a route that would also be illegal.
A Reform investigation was announced - but by who and into what is a mystery.
Nadine Dorries told us the party will not investigate Nigel Farage.
