10:02Now PlayingThe National Enterprise Development Programme (NEDEP) is an initiative of the Federal Government of Nigeria to bring together the workings of agencies involved in Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises for the common goal of accelerating their growth.
The programme which was launched earlier this year in March has The Industrial Trust Fund (ITF) as the technical adviser, Small and Medium Enterprises Development of Nigeria (SMEDAN) handling research and the Bank Of Industry as the financier.
These agencies are to work with State Council, Kano State is the first to inaugurate its council and the Minister of Industry, Trade and Investment, Olusegun Aganga was present.
Still on the programme Jamhaz Multipurpose Co-operative makers of floating fish feed in Kano State is working hard to eliminate importation of fish feed.
