13:55Now PlayingAs Africa is expected to begin to reap the results of the World Economic Forum on Africa held in Nigeria last week, African leaders must institute necessary reforms that will motivate investors to redeem their pledges, the Director Research and Advocacy Lagos Chamber Commerce and Industry, Mr Vincent Nwani, said on Wednesday.
Commenting on the expected gains from the forum that ended on May 9, Mr Nwani said that about 68 billion dollars would be coming into Africa based on commitments made by investors and other participants at the forum.
He also stressed that the next stage of the process would be moving from words to action, emphasising the need for government to focus on strategic reforms that would create a good environment for investments to grow.
