12:11Now PlayingThe Chief of Defence Staff, Air Chief Marshal Alex Badeh, has directed all services chiefs to ensure a compliance with the ceasefire agreement between the Federal Government and the Boko Haram sect.
The directive follows a meeting between the Federal Government and representatives of the terrorist group in Chad on Friday.
"A ceasefire agreement has been reached between the Federal Government of Nigeria and the Jama'atu Ahlis Sunna Lidda'Awati Wal-Jihad.
"I have accordingly directed the service chiefs to ensure immediate compliance with this development in the field, Air Chief Marshal Badeh said.
