13:55Now PlayingOne of the co-founders of the Future Awards Africa, Adebola Williams, says the award is set out to inspire change amongst young people in Nigeria.
On Channels Television's programme, Rubbin' Minds, Mr Williams said that the 9th edition, like other editions of the award, would also focus on how to correct stereotypes and fire up young Africans, who see lack of basic amenities, presence of Malaria and Ebola as constraints, and make them tap into their abilities and attain their full potentials.
"It is an evening of hope and faith to renew our faith in our country and in our continent," he said, describing the event that will hold at the intercontinental Hotel on Saturday.
