The spokesman of the Independent National Electoral Commission INEC), Mr Kayode Idowu, said that from observations, “Nigerians are used to doing the needful when the deadline approaches”.
Mr Idowu also said that the commission was optimistic that by next week people would come out to pick these cards.
He said that cards for persons that registered in December were ready and would be delivered to INEC offices in different wards for collection.
