A member of Act Now and the All Progressives Congress (APC), Ikem Isiekwena and a social commentator and Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) supporter, Opeyemi Ahmed, on Rubbin' Minds, argued over the ideologies of the two parties and how much of those ideologies they have been able to uphold.

“If you want to ask the number of notable persons that have left the PDP, it shows that there is a crisis of leadership in the PDP.

“Tambuwal left late last month and before him five other governors left.

“How can people in this party that cannot handle their party affair, handle a nation as complex and as big as Nigeria. It is a trend and it shows that there is a lacking strength of leadership and there is no thinking.

“The PDP's ideology is not clear and no one can identify that. Ideology is lacking in the party,” Isiekwena said.

He claimed that the APC was different from the PDP because “it has an ideology”.

For Ahmed there is no different between the PDP and the APC.

“There is no ideology in any political party in Nigeria,” he said, insisting that the APC in Lagos had made things difficult for people in Lagos State while the PDP had consistently brought smiles to people's faces.

“Nobody in the informal sector that is happy with the Lagos State government, because they have made things more difficult for them. The PDP's ideology is to make you smile, he said.
