7:05Now PlayingDr Juliette Tuakli has had over 30 years in Public Health and Clinical Paediatrics and provide the public health, child the reproductive health HIV service delivery in Ghana Zambia Kenya Rwanda, the US and the UK.
Residents in the capital of Ghana, Accra, she created an innovative post-graduate programme, a Child Rights and Health in Africa which is now used around the continent.
She is one woman who has had to use her profession for the greater good, as she has been critical involved be implementation of Ghana’s successful national HIV AIDS programme.
She was also a World Health Organization Adviser in Tropical Disease, Knowledge Management in Africa.
Right now, she is chairperson of the AU’s Diaspora Africa Forum.
One of the most impactful achievements so far have been to co-produced with the Istanbul declaration for the African Union.
She was honoured as a woman of excellence by fellow women in Africa and she shares her experience and commitment to her profession.
