Wireless networks in every home, business and school have made it almost impossible for us not to be online wherever we go.
Wi-Fi networks provide many benefits, but an unprotected network can result in unauthorised use and potential harm unless certain steps are taken. In some cases, people have had their identities stolen over wireless networks and many have lost their savings and even their identities.
Unauthorised users may also cause harm beyond your computer or network, such as sending spam, spyware or viruses to others and the activity can be traced back to your network.
How then can you protect your network against Wi-Fi thieves?
