He told Channels Television on Friday that those in governance should handle the issue with a sense of urgency.
"We are in tough times and the people have great expectations from the government considering its promises during campaign.
"The budget can't get lost and I don't think it should get lost.
"There is such a thing as a sense of urgency and I think that if there was ever a time that we are in that kind of situation when the sense of urgency should operate, it is now,” he said.
