9:21Now PlayingNigeria's Minister of Transportation has claimed that the Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike, is not doing enough to protect lives and property of Rivers people.
Mr Chibuike Amaechi, who was a guest on Channels Television's Sunrise Daily on Tuesday, accused Governor Wike of allowing violence to thrive in the state.
"The crisis in the state has gotten to a point where people's lives and property are lost. I thought that the responsibility of the Governor is to protect lives and property.
"The only offence that is constitutional and you can refer to as impeachable, is when the Governor is not able to protect lives and property," he emphasised.
