8:14Now Playing90 year old Chief Mrs Funke Arthur-Worrey glowing in her lovely birthday outfit, excited about her new age and has come to thank God for his mercies upon her life at Our Saviours Church, Tafawa Balewa Square in Lagos.
Chief Mrs. Arthur-Worrey is the mother of the former Solicitor General of Lagos State Mr. Fola Arthur-Worrey and they were all joined by other family members and friends to celebrate this unique milestone in her life.
With The procession into the church by the clergymen, the service started, the joy of the day is clearly seen on the face of the celebrant who can't but express it freely.
The Vice President of Nigeria, Professor Yemi Osinbajo, Former Interim President, Chief Earnest Shonekan and wife Margret and Governor Ibikunle Amosun of Ogun State were among notable guests at the church service.
The former Bishop of Ifo Diocese, The Right Reverend Akin Odejide paid glowing tribute to the celebrant
The service culminated into this special thanksgiving and the congregation joined her and the special service concludes on a high note.
The fun continued at the reception as more friends and well-wishers came to identify with the nonagenarian.
Chief Mrs. Funke Arthur-Worrey does not only enjoy good health of mind and body but also tremendous goodwill from friends and well-wishers and they sure turned out to make the day memorable for her

Chief Mrs. Funke Arthur-Worrey was born into the royal family of Ogunmade Onile Gbale chieftaincy house of Isale Eko Lagos state, she is a qualified secretary by profession and holds a diploma in fashion designing from the Paris Academy of Fashion Design and a diploma in Social Studies from Ohio State University in the United States of America.
As she celebrates her new age, we wish her well.
