Finland made rapid efforts to digitize government services and allocated about half a billion dollars to support various digital projects, including artificial intelligence. The ICT sector generated 14 billion dollars in 2017.
While the Senegalese government tripled the budget dedicated to digital economy due to positive results seen in the past. Last year, the government provided 2 million U.S. dollars for forty tech start-ups. Among the beneficiaries were e-health, e-commerce and Agric-tech companies.
