The Fire Prevention and Rescue Authority in Addis Ababa partnered with the U.S Forest Service in 2011. The collaboration has helped build capacity for firefighters through training curriculum development and standard operating procedures.
Response time of the Fire service to incidents in Dubai is six to eight minutes but the country plans to reduce it to 30 seconds. Emergency operation rooms in the country have devices that provide real-time images in case of outbreaks.
While in New Zealand, the number of buildings affected by infernos has reduced due to improved standards of building materials, installations of sprinklers as well as smoke detectors.
