The appeal court sitting in Ibadan the Oyo State capital has upheld the election of Ogun State Governor, Dapo Abiodun, as declared by the independent national electoral commission.
In the unanimous judgment delivered by Justice Mohammed Danjuma, the four man-panel dismissed the appeal filed by Mister Adekunle Akinlade of allied people's movement.
The appellate court also upheld the verdict of the Oyo State election petition tribunal, which declared Governor Seyi Makinde as the winner of the march 23 Governorship Poll.
