1:55Now PlayingThree hundred and thirteen new cases of COVID-19 have been recorded in 17 states of the federation, bringing the total number of coronavirus infections in the country to 7,839.
This is according to the latest figures released by the Nigeria Centre for disease control (NCDC) which also puts the number of patients discharged at 2,263, with 226 deaths.
A breakdown of the figures by regions shows that Lagos in the southwest remains the Epicentre with 3,505, followed by kano in the northwest with 896.
