Like other businesses, the aviation industry has been most negatively impacted since the outbreak of coronavirus with flights suspended and airspace closed.
However, one aircraft Engineer in Nigeria Isaac Balami has found a creative way of keeping his staff and even employing more people at these trying times.
Isaac owns and manages a hanger where private and commercial planes are serviced. During the lock-down, he decided to repurpose the upholstery section of the facility to produce face masks and create more jobs. Now he has a staff strength of over a thousand .
The masks are given out for free.
