She was diagnosed with Alopecia Totali when she was in her final year in the university. Her hair started falling off and this stirred a lot of misconceptions; She was stigmatized.
In a bid to change the narrative, jasmine started a Foundation to create awareness and educate people about the condition - Alopecia.
