On one hand, oil marketers say the government is yet to pay them an outstanding petrol subsidy and has stopped supplies to their depots to allow them to sell for N165 per litre.
On the other hand, the Nigerian Governor’s Forum is warning that sustaining subsidy payments on petrol would further bleed out the federation account.
