He won The Commonwealth COVID-19 Hero Award from the UK-based Commonwealth Foundation in 2021 for leading SRHIN’s COVID-19 risk communication work that translated evidence-based COVID-19 messages from the World Health Organization to over 100 languages. He also won the Royal African Young Leadership Award in 2022 and the Mandela Washington Fellowship Award in 2020, a prestigious award for exceptional brilliant Africans by the United States Department of State and the International Research and Exchange Board (IREX).
He is the Founder/ Executive Director of Slum and Rural Health Initiative (SRHIN) an organization that provides quality healthcare to underserved people in urban slums, IDP (refugee) camps, and hard-to-reach rural communities across several countries in Africa.
