2:14Now PlayingInhaling generator fumes has led to the death of seven persons in the Amarata axis of the Yenagoa metropolis in Bayelsa State.
The deceased who were aspiring musicians were in a room that served as a music studio.
Eyewitnesses disclosed that one of the deceased is a music producer who had to power his generator set to enable him work as there was power outage.
They worked into the night and slept off without putting off the generator set.
The power generating set was allegedly close to the room and was emitting fumes into the room that wasn't properly ventilated.
Six out of the seven persons were found dead in the morning and neighbors believe it is due to fume poisoning.
The seventh person who was immediately rushed to a hospital later died..
