2:19Now PlayingSome protesters are regrouping in Gusau, the Zamfara State capital on Day 5 of the #EndBadGovernance protest carrying the Russian flag.
They said, they are facing insecurity in their communities, which the government has not taken concrete steps to address, hence they are to continue the protest until the government do the needful.
The protesters decried that the bandits had imposed heavy taxes on them to pay to avoid attacks and to access their farmlands, a development which they want the government to take necessary measures to protect the people against the bandits’ activities.
The protesters are mostly children and youths who came out this Monday marching across capital city of Gusau, notably Tundunwada, Freedom Square, Government House to Gada biyu among other areas
Meanwhile, security agencies, mostly operatives of the Nigerian Police, and the military are monitoring the protesters closely to ensure peace and order.
