Though it isn’t a new virus, the World Health Organisation says there is a new strain that seems to be spreading quickly and little is known about it.
In its latest update, the NCDC says Lagos state recorded 246 confirmed cases of Mpox in the last seven years, ranking it as the state with the highest incidents in the country.
