3:42Now PlayingFor over a year, Sudan’s civil war has shattered the country in two, as government soldiers and the paramilitary group the Rapid Support Forces vie for dominance. Stories of unlawful killings on both sides have been rife since the conflict began, and in early June one of these allegations came to light.
The Rapid Support Forces (RSF) was accused of committing a massacre in the village of Wad Al-Noura after first shelling and then shooting people in their homes.
Survivors and eyewitnesses reveal the brutal attack that resulted in the alleged murder of over 150 civilians.
While the RSF claimed they targeted the Sudanese Armed Forces, SAF and Mujahideen Brigades, the BBC’s Mohammed Osman uncovered testimonies proving there were no such forces in the area.
