In his sermon, the officiating minister, Rev. Prof. Dapo Asaju, bishop of Ilesha diocese of the anglican church, encouraged everyone present not to be apprehensive about life, and went ahead to extoll the late Dr Kolade's virtues as devoid of corruption and prayed to god to give more persons like the late broadcaster to Nigeria.
Songs of tribute commence following various religious rites in honour of Dr Christopher Kolade.
