Assembly staff in the early hours of Tuesday reportedly discovered a bullet hole in the ceiling of the chamber, with a bullet said to have been found lodged on one of the tables inside the hall.
The majority leader of the house, Hon. Jonathan Ibhamawu, says security agencies have been invited to investigate the incident, assuring that no lawmaker or staff member was injured as the house suspends sitting pending the outcome of investigations.Don't forget to subscribe
