During the visit, the minister commiserated with the victims and their families, expressing deep concern over the incident. He confirmed that 22 people sustained injuries and are currently undergoing treatment at the facility.
Doro urged residents of Plateau State to embrace peace and remain vigilant, emphasizing the need for unity in the face of rising security challenges.
He also reassured the victims that the Federal Government is committed to restoring lasting peace in the state.
“The Federal Government will not rest until peace is fully restored. We are here to stand with you in this difficult time and to ensure that you receive the necessary support,” he said.
The visit comes amid ongoing efforts by authorities to stabilize the situation following the attack, which has drawn widespread condemnation and renewed calls for stronger security measures in Plateau State.
