A Florida judge may have made history by using a virtual reality headset in the courtroom.

Judge Andrew Siegel wore an Oculus Quest 2 to experience a VR simulation during the defense expert's testimony in the case of Miguel Albisu, a wedding venue owner charged with aggravated assault.

This simulation could mark the first-ever use of VR as evidence in a criminal case. Albisu allegedly waved a gun at guests after an altercation at his venue, where his wife and son were reportedly attacked.
