Back to the Future called it in 1989, and a California startup is making it happen.

Alef Aeronautics, founded the same year flying cars were imagined in the movie, just released footage of its Model Zero, a sleek, 100% electric flying car with hidden rotor blades. It offers a 200-mile driving range and a 100-mile flight range.

“Designed to drive on the street, take off vertically, and fly above traffic, we’re solving modern congestion,” the company says.

With over 3,300 pre-orders for the Model A, Alef is set on making flying cars affordable for all.
