A team of Purdue University undergrads built Purdubik’s Cube, a robot that just broke the world record for solving a Rubik’s Cube.
It solved the puzzle in 0.103 seconds, faster than the blink of an eye and nearly three times quicker than the previous record (0.305s), set by Mitsubishi Electric in 2024.
A student team just outpaced an $80 billion tech giant.
