In Xi'an City, the plan is to knock down parts of a 1,300-year-old temple so they can build a souvenir shop. It would effectively make the temple just a money making tourist trap and forcing the monks to leave. But this temple houses the bones of Xuanzang, the famed monk from Journey to the West. And while in Journey to the West, he had the Monkey King Sun Wukong on his side, now he has the people of China fighting to protect him and the cultural heritage of China.
