YouTube Description
as posted by the channelWhat happens when a TED talk becomes a propaganda tool? That's what we find out on this episode of China Uncensored. Eric X Li is a venture capitalist from Shanghai. For 20 minutes, he lectures on the failings of democracy and the success of one party rule by the Chinese Communist Party in China based on three points-adaptability, meritocracy, and legitimacy. He says US President Barack Obama wouldn't even be qualified to be a small county manager in China. And even though each of his arguments are so stunningly flawed, a few jokes about George W. Bush and the audience is on their feet giving the man a standing ovation by the end. These are ideas not worth passing on.
