At a press conference, he brought out two women horribly disfigured from burns and said he'd pay for their corrective plastic surgery. And with that Chen revived a propaganda smear that the Chinese regime used to justify its persecution of the Falun Gong spiritual practice — the Tiananmen Square Immolation hoax.
