In Canada you can delete yourself via euthanasia, but the medical system has always insisted that you need a fatal diagnosis or unmanageable pain to obtain the drugs for euthanasia.
Turns out, doctors euthanized people with “unmet social needs” — so people who might not have enough money, social connections, or housing. This means if people FELT isolated — which could be very temporary — they were euthanized.
