as posted by the channelFour top deputies of New York City Mayor Eric Adams resigned after corruption charges against Eric Adams were dismissed. So under the direction of Pam Bondi at the Department of Justice, the DOJ has dropped charges filed against Eric Adams back in September of 2024.
And to be clear: the DOJ did not say they were dropping the case because the evidence against Eric Adams was nonexistent, they said they were dropping the case because it was hindering the election process — I think you can make an argument for both. It’s not fair to prosecute political enemies during an election year, but if they’re in the wrong, it’s not fair that the voters don’t have all the evidence for and against the people they’re voting for.
