YouTube Description
as posted by the channelWalgreens is being accused of racism for putting darker shades of makeup behind lock and key, while leaving the lighter shades out and available for consumption. Commentators online argue that this is Walgreens harboring overt racism against black women.
There isn’t some executive at Walgreens sitting on high and demanding that dark shades of makeup be locked up. There is a digital inventory system that keeps track of which products are taken the most — and these shades of ELF foundation seem to be stolen the most.
Perhaps, it has nothing to do with the product or the corporation targeting a specific racial demographic, but repercussions for actions.
These kinds of posts go so viral because low IQ people love to think that corporations wake up every day and say gee, I wonder how I can oppress black women today! That’s simply not happening. Stop stealing makeup products and they won’t be locked up. It’s. So. Simple.
