The home, built in 1905, is located in the Abingdon, a luxe building described in the listing as "the most coveted prewar condo conversion in the heart of West Village." Dubbed the Abingdon Mansion, Cohen's condo was custom designed for "entertaining and showcasing important art."
The home's entry has 30-foot ceilings, a Carrara marble staircase and a gallery hall.
The great room sits at the corner of the building, with "north and west exposures, inviting abundant natural light and postcard views of historic and protected prime West Village through multiple and oversized picture windows," the listing states.
The home also has a dining room and an eat-in kitchen, which is considered a luxury in Manhattan.
The upper floor of the home includes a master "wing" that's 1,200 square feet. The bedroom is massive by New York City standards and has its own marble bathroom, his and hers dressing rooms and a home office.
Upstairs are the other three bedrooms, two full bathrooms and a private courtyard. The lower level floor includes a guest suite, recreation room, private gym, laundry room and half bathroom.
Other amenities featured in the triplex include fireplaces, direct elevator access to each floor, motorized blackout shades and a security system. The condo is listed by Christie's International Real Estate.
Cohen certainly has the bank account to back up his pricey digs. Forbes pegs the hedge fund founder's net worth at $12.9 billion, and he ranked eighth on Forbes' list for the Highest-Earning Hedge Fund Managers in 2018.
