“Yes,” Jeffries said bluntly during a press conference on Capitol Hill, when asked if he’s confident in Schumer to keep his members in line as Senate Republicans plan to keep bringing the House-passed measure to the floor for a vote.
Asked about the White House budget office’s warning to House Republicans that permanent layoffs of federal workers would take effect in “one to two” days, Jeffries argued that this is just a continuation of what the Trump administration has been doing since the start of President Donald Trump’s term. #CNN #News
