In remarks during the opening ceremony of his presidential center in Chicago, former President Barack Obama called on Americans to look to the future, saying: “We want to find a way to look toward each other again, not further away.”
In her speech, Michelle Obama also implored Americans to remain engaged. The former first lady did not mention anyone in the Trump administration by name, but called out immigration policies: “No one has the right to sit in judgment of who’s American enough.”
