Republican Sen. Lindsey Graham expressed great opposition and mistrust in Pakistan's role as a mediator between the US and Iran. He also referenced a CBS News report that Pakistan allowed Iranian military aircraft to park on its airfields. Pakistan has rejected the report, with its Foreign Affairs Ministry saying in a statement, “Following the ceasefire and during the initial round of the Islamabad Talks, a number of aircraft from Iran and the United States arrived in Pakistan to facilitate the movement of diplomatic personnel, security teams, and administrative staff associated with the talks process.”
