His books include The Myth of the Rational Voter (which was voted best political book of the year by the New York Times), Selfish Reasons To Have More Kids, Case Against Education, and Open Borders. Bryan also blogs for EconLog, and has been published in the New York Times, The Washington Post, Wall Street Journal, Time Magazine, and many more.
This episode focuses on his argument for open borders, which I find very compelling. Before you dismiss it as crazy, utopian or naïve, just listen to Bryan's full account of it and read the book. Whether or not I agree with his conclusions, Bryan is one of the most careful thinkers I've had the pleasure of speaking with.
