Jesse and I discuss his new book, ‘The Quick Fix : Why Fad Psychology Can't Cure Our Social Ills’.
We discussed the replication crisis in psychology, why so much psych research gets debunked in the long run. We talked about the problem with notions like self-esteem, power, posing, grit and other fads in psychology. And we spent a good deal of time talking about the implicit bias test and its flaws.
