Anytime I bring up the fact that each gun control law is a slippery slope to the next gun control law and that the ultimate goal is to ban them all people gawk and say that I'm being a paranoid and an extremist.
Ok, if I'm honest, I can see why people would think this. Contrary to popular belief most people are reasonable people and reasonable people tend to expect their politicians to also be reasonable people, except, when it comes to anti-gun politicians, these guys are power-hungry control freaks who will tell you anything you want to hear to Pacifiy you and have you give up a little bit something at a time until they get the whole thing.
