On June 5, this rapidly expanding Gun Control group hopes a group of 25,000 will come together for a sit-in at the state Capitol and to demand the governor sign their drafted executive order.
“The executive order is asking Governor [Jared] Polis to ban all guns and implement a buyback program," (confiscate them) said Alyce Blum.
Although the statements made by this fast growing gun control group may seem extreme, it's important to recognize that Governor Jared Polis may indeed support their cause.
After all, this is the same governor who recently signed four gun control bills into law including allowing gun manufacturers to be sued for people using their guns in crimes.
I am highly skeptical that this is simply a group of 25,000 and growing overly enthusiastic helicopter moms fueled by boxed wine.
My instincts tell me that this is actually Astro turf attempting to appear as a grassroots movement.
I do commend these mothers for being forthright about their stance on gun control and openly advocating for a complete gun ban, unlike the deceitful gun control lobby who camouflage their true intentions with the phrase "common sense gun measures" while gradually chipping away at the second amendment.
It's important to acknowledge that there are many others out there who secretly support these women's eccentric ideas, so let's not underestimate their influence.
