The deceptive tactics employed by anti-gun politicians and organizations claim they don't want to take away our guns, just implement "reasonable" gun laws, and dismiss our concerns about a slippery slope as fear mongering.
Well, join me as we break it down and expose the truth.
In a recent interview with CBS mornings, former President Obama suggested that the United States should respond to mass shootings the way Australia did.
But let's examine what happened in Australia after their mass shooting:
First, there were background checks, then the creation of a registry, followed by a ban on semi-automatic firearms, and ultimately, confiscation. This is the example Obama points to while simultaneously dismissing the slippery slope argument as silly.
Now, let's look at Prime Minister Justin Trudeau of Canada.
In 2010, he addressed concerns about gun control being a slippery slope.
However, fast forward to 2020, and he banned AR-15 rifles.
In 2022, he went further and banned handguns.
And unbelievably, in 2023, he's attempting to ban hunting rifles.
This progression mirrors the exact path anti-gun politicians and lobbyists are advocating for in America. It's blatant and almost laughable, except it's not funny because so many people believe their lies.
Even our current president met with the New Zealand Prime Minister, who implemented gun bans and confiscations, seeking guidance on gun control. Yes, the same leader who took away firearms from law-abiding citizens.
The only reason such extreme measures haven't happened in America is because the United States is a country governed by its people, not soft tyrants and dictators.
To put it simply, our leaders need to convince us to willingly give up our Second Amendment rights because those rights are protected by our Constitution.
The only way the anti-gun lobby and politicians can achieve their agenda is by deceiving us, claiming it's for our safety and the enactment of "reasonable" laws.
But it's all smoke and mirrors, my friends.

It's essential to see the truth behind their lies and recognize their true intentions. Our Second Amendment rights are not up for negotiation, and we must remain vigilant in defending them.
