In a brave act of self-defense, a 75-year-old woman in Oakland confronted two armed intruders who broke into her home. The home invasion occurred at 2 a.m. in the Chabot Park neighborhood, and the elderly resident was alone when the intruders forced their way in.
Fearing for her safety, the courageous woman grabbed her .357 Magnum and fired one shot at the suspects. In response, the intruders returned fire before making their escape. Thankfully, the woman was not injured, and the suspects fled the scene.
