as posted by the channelDuring a 60 Minutes interview, Kamala Harris tried to appeal to moderates by making clear she owns a handgun and she has used it.
Honestly, it's deceptive at best. She stands up there and says, "I’m a gun owner" which somehow makes her Second Amendment-friendly.
Kamala, I don’t care if you own a Glock, an AR-15, or even a Bazooka. What matters to me is that, time and time again, you’ve actively tried to take guns away from law-abiding citizens.
Owning a gun for yourself while supporting policies that restrict everyone else's right to own one doesn’t make you pro-Second Amendment.
It makes you a political elitist. You want the privilege of owning a gun, but you're not fighting for the rights of everyday Americans to do the same.
Where’s your support for national concealed carry reciprocity? Are you okay with me taking my Texas CHL and carrying it in California? I highly doubt it. She's never advocated for anything like that.
This whole “I own a gun” is just an attempt to win over moderates.
She’s trying to distance herself from her hard anti-gun stance because she’s losing support from those middle-of-the-road voters. But it doesn’t change the fact that she’s consistently pushed for policies that undermine the Second Amendment. She’s the same person who has openly talked about using executive orders to push gun control—so much so that even Joe Biden had to tell her, "You can’t do that, Kamala. It’s unconstitutional!"
