Then Kimber released this.
The Kimber 2K11 Comp takes everything that worked about the 2K11 platform and turns it up: an integrated compensator, reduced slide mass, a predictable trigger, and a recoil impulse that’s fast without being nervous.
What surprised me most isn’t how flat it shoots — it’s how calm it feels while shooting fast.
This isn’t a temperamental race gun that punishes mistakes. It’s a comped 2011 that feels fully sorted. The sights return exactly where you expect them. The trigger reset is consistent. The gun is ready before you are — and that’s a dangerous thing in the best possible way.
